Far Across the Words

Navci (2 of Hearts) and I started a penpal photo-story project: Far Across the Words =)


(This is obviously a photomanipulation).

She's living in BC; I am living in Ontario. It all started with us wanting to do something together. And this happened. I really admire Navci's photography and dolls in general. I think her taste is really exquisite ^^

If you have time, or you're just plain bored, please go and take a look =) We don't know where it'll go or for how long we will be doing it, but for now we're really happy about the whole concept.

I haven't painted in years. But I have doodles to share ^^U

This Alucard rotation was done to serve as reference for a head sculpting by DIM.

I'm also planning a band in resin. The one at the left should be the Alucard head. The rest of the heads are already with me. So from left to right: DIM Alucard MNM, Nabarro Har, Angelsdoll Michael, Luts Regen. The fun part about this will be getting their bodies and instruments (I found the microphone!). Now I need bass guitar, guitar, and drums.

And this is my attempt at expression sheet for Glenn. I took reference from Sinbad *loves Dreamworks 2D movies* I also tried to draw Paul but he's harder than what I thought.

"Human" Coltrane

This is Coltrane Holland. It's taking me so long, I couldn't avoid posting a WIP ;_; But there's so many details that need to be done (that eagle's gonna kill me). Don't get me wrong, it's been a lot of fun so far.

In this portrait, he was a teenager and still living in North America, around 1790-something. I'll post the finished version later on X_X

"Human" Juno

Number 1 of a series of "Human" portraits. I'll try to portray my characters before they became immortal; in that sense, I'll try to emulate the art of the period.

In this case, it's Juno Millet, circa 1420 (middle ages). This was a hard one because I didn't want to distort her features so much to make her look like those... You know, plastic-out-of-proportion middle ages portraits. So I kind of did my own version, but I'll try to avoid that in the next ones X__X It's gonna be sooooo hard with Paul, I know.

There's still six remaining, from Hellenistic Greece to nowadays. Who's gonna be next? I have no clue...

Little Faces

What do I do while attending a lecture and it's early morning?
Of course, doodle faces, what else. It's been a while since I drew something with real stuff (instead of using a computer). I think my style suddenly changed a little bit. I'm liking it. They were all done with ballpoint pen with the exception of the first three at the left (those were done with pencil).
